Our organization began in January 1967 as the Danville Board of Realtors.  In 2000, we became the Dan River Region Association of REALTORS® to better describe the area in which we work.  We are the voice for real estate in the City of Danville, VA, and all of Pittsylvania County.  The purpose of the Dan River Region Association of REALTORS® is to promote real estate by providing ethical, professional services to its members and the community it serves.  We unite those engaged in the real estate profession in this community with Virginia REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, thereby furthering their own objectives throughout the commonwealth and nation, and obtaining the benefits and privileges of membership therein.
